Quality Control Technician

The Quality Control Technician is responsible for all repair, setup and maintenance on instruments that enter and exit the Distribution Center, ensuring that all product is consistent and acceptable in the current market climate. ​ Essential Functions & Daily Duties​ ​ Responsible for documenting and analyzing any incoming instrument shipments for damages or irregularities. This includes separating issues into three main categories: Cosmetic, Functional and Playability. Responsible for accurate and timely repairs and setups. Responsible to help maintain the Quality Control processes, procedures and standards. Responsible for accurately picking instruments from our inventory to prep for shipment. Warehouse Associate

Receives, processes, and delivers incoming orders and/or packs and ships outgoing orders from warehouse -Moves, locates, relocates, stacks and counts stock with the assistance of a forklift, hand truck and/or manually Role and Responsibilities -Accepts & unloads inbound shipments and loads outbound shipments safely and efficiently -Verifies merchandise shipments received against purchase orders, packing slips and/or waybills -Moves materials in and out of storage locations accurately and without damage to items -Stores items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouse -Examines and inspects stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisor -Receives and counts stock items, and records data manually and/or using a computer -Checks order for completeness and possible damage -Logs shipments, completes and forwards paperwork in a timely manner, as assigned -Stacks and stages materials -Prepares, packs and ships all outgoing merchandise (including returns) according to department procedures -Pulls and prepares materials for shipment -Weigh and measures pallets & cartons -Maintains equipment and materials in a neat, clean and orderly fashion -Operates all equipment in a safe and efficient manner per company policies -Keeps well-organized records and reports -Maintains clean, neat and orderly work area, including removal of trash, as assigned -Complies with all safety rules -Performs other duties as assigned or requested -The company reserves the right to add or change duties at any time Qualifications and Education Requirements -Education: High school diploma or equivalent -Experience: 1-2 years of related experience -License/Certification: Valid state driver's license; OSHA Forklift Training certificate preferred Preferred Skills -Active listening -Operation and control -Operation monitoring -Coordination -Ability to lift 40lbs on a regular basis -Equipment maintenance -Time management

Role and Responsibilities -Make daily outbound sales calls to gain new sales -Receive and respond to incoming calls and emails from prospective dealers and consumers -Respond promptly to all correspondence in a professional manner -Handle all calls willingly and with a positive attitude -Enters dealer orders promptly into CRM for processing -Maintain dealer contact information in CRM -Daily input of dealer contacts and prospecting noted into CRM -Maintain relationships with buyers, store employees, and repair personnel at dealer locations -Follow up with dealer post sales to ensure customer satisfaction -Build a solid, organized dealer book which furthers your customer relationships and generates consistent, proactive sales volume -Achieve sales and metric goals -Knows dealers’ inventory and products they have on order -Obtain and maintains a high level of knowledge regarding product -Ensure all sales and operational policy and procedures are adhered to -Performs other duties as assigned Qualifications and Education Requirements -High School Diploma -Experience in musical instrument retail and customer service -A minimum of two years’ experience in musical instrument related sales or sales support role -Experience with and deep knowledge of guitars, basses and accessories -Previous experience in office environment is preferred -Preferred Skills -Customer service, or other related fields that involve interaction with others -Proficiency in MS Office with expertise in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel and the ability to learn new software applications -Ability to prioritize and multitask -Detail oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment -Excellent written and verbal communication skills -Superior organization skills and dedication to completing projects in a timely manner

Electronic Repair Technician

he Electronic Repair & Service Tech is responsible for all repair and service work needed on multiple types and brands of musical instrument electronic equipment. Role and Responsibilities -Documenting and analyzing any electronic shipments for damages or irregularities -Responsible for accurate and timely repairs and instrument setups -Responsible to help maintain the Quality Control processes, procedures and standards -Responsible for documenting and analyzing any incoming instrument shipments for damages or irregularities. This includes separating issues into three main categories: Cosmetic, Functional and Playability -Responsible for accurately picking instruments from our inventory to prep for shipment -Perform all other tasks as assigned Qualifications and Education Requirements HS Diploma 3-5 years previous experience repairing music gear electronic components Preferred Skills -Must be able to read and follow a schematic -Must be able to diagnose issues with electrical components within instruments and accessories -Make difficult decisions/choices and supporting them -Take initiative -Excellent written and communication skills -Extremely organized and task oriented -Personable, fun, team-oriented attitude -Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment -Ability to understand both large scale and small-scale projects
